Alabaster with base
7″x 12″x 6″

The small, translucent piece of white alabaster quickly wiggled into its snail form. It is the first sculpture that my young friend Victor polished to a fine sheen. In front of the window all the veins in the stone are illuminated and it has a bewitching glow.  My photographer,  Katherine Sokolova and I will try to capture that radiance.
